U.S Senate to Consider Bill That Would Protect Unborn

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) introduced on 1/21/2016 U.S. Senate Bill S2462 titled “Life at Conception Act of 2016”. It is an act that would “implement equal protection under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution for the United States for the right to life of each born and unborn human person”.

Senate 2464

Rep. Alexander Mooney (R-WV-2) sponsored a related resolution in the House, introduced 2/9/2015. The resolution, HR816, was referred to the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice on 3/16/2015.

House 816

The courage and intent of this legislation is to be applauded; that the life of each and every “human person” at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization or cloning or other moment at which an individual comes into being is to be valued and protected

Everyone is urged and encouraged to contact their Senators and request they vote in favor of S2464 in committee hearings, on the floor of the Senate, and during each vote on the bill.
